This course is designed to prepare teachers to work with children with high-incidence disabilities in grades K-12. It provides an overview of curriculum and instructional methods. Students will be able to design lessons using Explicit Instruction model. Emphasis is placed on understanding and analysis of learning problems and evidence-based academic interventions. This course has a field component.
