Katharine Slater

Easily the best English professor, and that's saying a lot because they're all pretty good. She's young, so still cool enough to relate to, and very enthusiastic about the subject. Four absences allowed, which was nice. I didn't think she was a hard grader at all. Responds quickly, even if you email her last minute. Wish I could take her seminar.

Dr. Slater is an amazing professor! She makes it very interactive and is great at making you want to contribute to the discussion. There are a lot of small (and very, very easy) quizzes to help your grade. She's a bit of a tough paper grader, but she is super helpful when you ask for help. She picks great reading material as well--it's not stuffy.
