Explores the role and influence of the media industry in shaping intercultural understanding within the United States. Focuses on the ability to read, interpret, analyze, and begin to produce media from a culturally informed perspective. The history of representations based on race, gender, class, ability, and more will be examined. Prerequisite: senior status. Class Notes: seniors only.
