Description
Prerequisite: ENGL 1213/EXPO 1213. Masterpieces of world literature from 1700 to the modern period. Courses can either be a broad survey of world literature covering classics by authors such as Goethe, Dostoyevsky, Ghalib, Duras, Kawabata, Kafka, Djebar and Conde or focused around a specific theme, such as rewrites of colonial texts.
