SPAN 3100 - Spanish Civilization and Culture

Description
An intensive exploration of Spanish history, institutions and traditions through films, documentaries and readings. The foundational events, contexts and interpretive skills required to effectively understand, analyze and evaluate the complexity, influence, and ongoing vitality of Spain through its cultural products. FA Sem, every other year, odd years. Prereq: SPAN 2100, or permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 6 hrs.
