ESL 0903 - Introduction to College Listening & Speaking

Description
This course prepares students to participate fully in campus life and university courses. It provides opportunities to develop fluency and confidence in having authentic communication. Students develop academic listening and note-taking strategies. Attention is also given to appropriate sentence structure, understandable pronunciation, and vocabulary development. Classes consist of a variety of listening and speaking activities, including recorded conversations and short lectures, small group discussions, pair work, vocabulary practice, and oral presentations.
