William Schuler

There is a lot of reading for every class meeting. You must post on a discussion board before every meeting, so the reading is mandatory. The lectures were very confusing, lots of abstract modeling that he doesn't even test you on. He's very direct about tests, so you can still do well in the course and not completely understand every concept.

Professor Schuler is well prepared for class, knowledgeable, funny, patient, helpful and humble. It is obvious that he wants students to succeed, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I can personally attest to his patience: there was a student that would always interrupt in class and he didn't want to strangle him!
