AAS 2540 - History of Injustice in the United States

Description
Designed to give a socio-legal-historical perspective respecting the patterns of injustice in various areas of African American life. American Blacks are, of course, not the only victims of racism/injustice, but in the past they have been - by far - the largest and the most active of the country's minorities and thus the appropriate focus for review of the law and injustice.

The subject matter she teaches is undeniably important and needed, but the course work and grading criteria is RIDICULOUS for a three credit hour, 2000 level course. That being said, I highly respect Dr. Jeffries and learned a lot from this class (even if my final grade doesn't reflect it).

Dr. Jeffries is a knowledgeable professor and presents interesting topic information. However, she is unhelpful and rude when it comes to answering questions or providing help. Tough grader with a bad attitude. Does not provide support if you are struggling and seems like she could care less about her students.
