HIST 251 - Historical Investigation

Description
The how and why of the historian's craft: an introduction to the basics of research and writing; an examination of historical writing, its relationship to the time and place of its origin, and the emergence of the ideas, consciousness, and canons of scholarship which shaped it. Satisfies Humanities Core Curriculum. Class Notes: This course will meet every other week, beginning in week 2. Hybrid course - in-person and online components required.
