Application of the theoretical basis for the processes used in the nurse's leadership role in a variety of healthcare settings for the purpose of providing and improving patient care that is developmentally and culturally appropriate. Application of critical thinking skills and evidence-based practice as they relate to the nature and functioning of the healthcare system and its impact on nursing practice. Evaluation of procedures used in the leadership role in a variety of healthcare settings. CRQ: NURS 431 or RN status.
