Sources, processes and consequences of social change on macro and micro levels. Applications of classical and contemporary theories to historical and modern examples of social change in international, national, regional, community, and institutionalsettings. Examples of empirical studies and appropriate methodologies for each level of analysis. Prerequisite: 3 cr. in SOC, 200 level; SOC 300
