Nature and extent of juvenile delinquency; measurement problems; and biogenic, psychogenic and sociogenic theories of delinquency causation. Policy implications of delinquency theories for treatment and prevention. Evaluation of treatment and prevention programs. Prerequisite: 3 cr. in SOC 200-level; SOC 300
