COUN 766 - Ad Clin Mental Health Counsel

Description
This course is a laboratory course with a focus on culturally responsive principles of mental health counseling including prevention, intervention, consultation, education, advocacy, and crisis management. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate skill related to these areas. Students also learn about clinical mental health service delivery, program development and management, and the importance of policy and community support systems to treatment. Prerequisites: COUN 713. (F;S;SS)
