COUN 758 - Psychopa Diagnosis and Treat

Description
This course familiarizes students with psychopathology and clinical evaluation using the most recent edition of the DSM and ICD classification systems, as well as other diagnostic tools. There is an additional emphasis on case conceptualization, biopsychosocial treatment planning, continuum of care, pharmacological interventions, and the impact of diversity, crisis, and trauma on the assessment and treatment processes. Prerequisites: COUN 704 or COUN 707 or COUN 708. (F;S;SS)
