Interdisciplinary study of cross-cultural interactions and transnational politics in the context of globalization. Competing approaches to inter-cultural interaction. Case studies of cultural conflict, assimilation, and hybridization. Legacies of imperialism and colonialism. Narratives and representations of transnational interactions. Prerequisites: MC 220. Spring of every year.
