Description
The nature, need, functions, role, creation, and destruction of money and credit; financial institutions and their functions with special emphasis on the commercial banking system and the Federal Reserve system; introduction to monetary theory and policy; and international aspects of money and monetary policy. Prerequisite: ECON 201 and 202.
