Special attention to issues faced by tech-savvy employees and tech-intensive ventures; employees starting competing ventures; compensation and equity arrangements; the challenges of the gig economy; employee privacy; and discrimination, gender and other inclusion-related issues in the workplace. Led by former practicing attorneys, focuses on how employment law issues play out in the real world. Utilizes realistic scenarios and documents, such as offer letters and non-competition and invention assignment agreements. No prior knowledge of law expected.
