Prerequisite: permission of instructor. Introduction to methodologies, concepts, and techniques to teach persons with blindness or low vision the skills and knowledge needed to function independently in diverse settings. This course provides learners with instruction and laboratory practice in methodologies for teaching skills for independent living, including areas within the expanded core curriculum.
