SPE 560 - Working with Families of Exceptional Individuals

Description
Recommended Prerequisite: SPE 310. The relationship between families of children with special needs and various agencies is a central theme of this course. Techniques for working with a variety of families will be explored along with the impact of many ecological factors on families of students with disabilities. May be taught concurrently with SPE 660. Cannot receive credit for both SPE 560 and SPE 660. 3(3-0) F,S

Each week we would have a speaker come in and talk to us about their organizations. The papers due by the next week. Every paper was easy. All of the tests including the final are online. The questions on each test were pretty straight forward. I would not recommend getting the books for SPE 560. You do not use them.

GREAT professor! I also have her for spe310 online.. which she is learning still on the online course... but she has been so helpful, even giving a personal number to contact her with any help i needed with projects. highly recommend her! :)
