MOTR number MUSC 103 - Music History I. The historical unfolding of western art music and the ways in which culture and society have played a central role in that development. Music from the Middle Ages to the Baroque will be studied from the perspective of the way in which it has been influenced and in turn influenced religion, politics, economics, and other social issues. 3(3-0) F
