CHEM 121 - General Chemistry I

Description
This course is the first of two-semester sequence primarily intended for students majoring in science and science-related fields. Topics likely to be covered in this semester include; matter, measurement, atoms, ions, molecules, reactions, chemical calculations, thermochemistry, bonding, molecular geometrym periodicity, and gases. Lecture, 3 hours; recitation, 1 hour; laboratory, 3 hours. Corequisite: MATH 103. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite or Corequisite: Student must be enrolled or have completed MATH 103 before enrolling in this class.
