Description
Where does nature begin or end? What is the natural? What do eco-terrorism, global warming, and the poisoning of the oceans and the Earth have to do with art? Are they art? Engage with naturalists and other writers and thinkers from Aldo Leopold’s seminal work to contemporary authors like Annie Dillard, Tom Horton, Dianne Ackerman, and David Foster Wallace. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: one academic course at the 300 level or higher, or Graduate or Post-Baccalaureate standing.
