MAD 2104 - Discrete Mathematics

Description
This course introduces the student to the principles of discrete mathematics that apply to computer science. The student will examine set theory, logic, Boolean algebra, number theory, vectors and matrices, combinatorics, probability, relations, functions, and basic graph theory. Prerequisite: MAC1106 or MAC1140 with a grade of "C" or higher. ( 3 hr. lecture ). Enrollment Requirements: Requisites for MAD 2104: Prerequisites of MAC 1106 or MAC 1140 or MAC 1147 with a grade of "C" or higher.
