Introduction to soil science yet lots of information to cover. Attendance wasn't mandatory but you will not pass if you don't go to class. Powerpoints for lecture are mostly general info and pictures, he adds his own information as he goes. However, a great lecturer and makes this class super interesting. Study way ahead of exams and you will pass!

Deenik is a gr8 lecturer, passionate & knowledgeable w/ soils. He's critical & strict at times, & he might grill u on the spot if ur not attentive. But he's also helpful & approachable. Chem-heavy course, so strong understanding of chemistry is a MUST. HW, exams, & final are each worth 20% of course grade. A dense but valuable soil class! :)
