CPST 397 - Capstone

Description
This course must be taken by SCPS students during the last semester prior to graduation.Students will research a problem, conceptulize solutions and develop a solution as their service-learning project. Within this project, students will synthesize and apply knowledge from prior courses. Course content also includes an analysis of leadership challenges and values-driven leadership.Outcome: Students will chronicle their projects and present a final presentation of their work. They will also present their professional portfolios as a graduation requirement. Class Notes: This class satisfies the Engaged Learning requirement in the Service Learning category. CPST 397-700E is a blended section, meets online and in-person. Class meets face-to-face on Wednesdays, 6-9PM CST, 9/4, 9/18, 10/2, 10/23, 11/6, 11/20, 12/4. Add Consent: Department Consent Required. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-requisites: CPST 201; All CPST courses are restricted to students in the School of Continuing & Professional Studies.
