CPST 350 - Human Resources Principles & Practices

Description
Students will gain understanding human of resource management functions including the legal environment, equal employment opportunities requirements; job design and analysis; recruiting, orientation and training; performance appraisal; compensation systems; labor relations; collective bargaining and grievance processes; and health and safety. Prerequisite: CPST 250; Students must be enrolled in the School of Continuing and Professional StudiesOutcome: Students will make a presentation about human resource components for an organization including job description, recruiting plan, hiring procedures, performance evaluation and collective bargaining considerations. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: CPST 250Students must be enrolled in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
