COMM 266 - Advertising Copywriting

Description
This course will focus on the art of copywriting for advertising, be it for TV, print, outdoor, social media and the ever changing landscape of digital media. Students will learn to craft their words to make creative advertising based on strategies and insights. Outcomes: Through a series of creativity building exercises, short lectures, and readings, learners develop both an understanding of creativity and increase their own ability. Class Notes: This is a writing intensive class. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-requisite: COMM 214 (minimum grade C-). Requirement Designation: Writing Intensive.
