CIS 3023 - Database Applications I

Description
Introduction to relational databases using Oracle. Students will learn database concepts, how to create database objects such as tables, indexes, views, etc. Creaton of database objects will be covered from the perspective of system design and will address such topics as normalization and referential integrity. The student will become proficient in Structured Query Languages (SQL) and will be able to insert, update, delete and retrieve data from tables. Prerequiste: CIS 3003. Course rotation: Spring.
