COSC 1371 - Microcomputers

Description
The objective of this course is to teach students to solve realistic problems using the most readily available off-the-shelf general applications software: word processing, spreadsheets and database systems. The course familiarizes the student with Internet resources. Students learn the basic components of computer systems and networks. (This course may not be taken as a COSC/CPSC elective).

Any course taken from Mr.Beard will prove to be a waste of time. He avoids getting the point in his lectures and communication with him is extremely difficult. He may respond to emails quickly, but his responses often seem to lack understanding in the assignments he has given and in person he comes off condescending most students speak poorly ofHim

100% TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!! He responds to emails very quickly and answers any questions you may have in a timely manner. I was taking this class in person with a different professor and switching to online with Sun was the smartest thing i could've done. very easy and self-explanatory class. do the work, and you'll get an A!
