NURS 60230 - Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner III

Description
Students apply techniques for critical care evaluation and treatment for the adult gerontology patient, specifically, in the acute care setting. Students are instructed about pharmacotherapeutic and non-pharmacotherapeutic treatment for acute, acute on chronic and chronic illness. This is accomplished via classroom lecture, case studies and simulation case studies. Prerequisite: NURS 60130 and NURS 61392; and graduate standing. Corequisites: NURS 62392.
