Monica's an amazing person, but not the best professor (not the worst either). Her lectures are interesting, but don't cover most of the material. It's really easy to underestimate how much will be on the tests. Make sure to read the chapters thoroughly.

The assignments are easy, the tests are like 20 essay questions each. Tough grader on the tests and honestly I should have gotten a 94-95 in the class, but she tends to grade fast so you might have to ask her what you got wrong, because she isn't clear. So I got a 93 which is an A -. It was not hard to keep up just read the book.
