This is a class you will feel as if you are teaching yourself. Questions are typically responded to with a question. A large portion of the lecture is spent talking about his family and how his toddler is a prodigy. The lab portion of the class is not much different. Guidance is nearly nonexistent. Knowledge does not equate to teaching ability.

This professor is not helpful. Don't bother asking a question, you will not get a direct answer. The reason for having a professor is having help when you need it. Having a Ph.D. doesn't make a good professor, it just makes for good credentials. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this professor. Otherwise, be prepared to teach yourself.
