CSCIA 201 - Introduction To Programming I

Description
Fundamental programming constructs, including loops, arrays, classes and files. General problem-solving techniques. Emphasis on modular programming, user-interface design, and developing good programming style. Not intended for computer science majors. Class Notes: Campuswide Gen Ed Fundamental Literacies: Computer Literacy P: a grade of C or better in MATH-A 100, or a math placement exam score of level 3 or above, or an ALEKS assessment score of 36 or higher. This class requires a Laboratory Fee. The current rate is $51. Rates are subject to change. Enrollment Requirements: Must have earned a C or better in MATH-A 100 or an ALEKS assessment score of 36 or better or a math placement exam score of level 3 or better to enroll. Can be currently enrolled. Transfer credit accepted.
