MET 34800 - Engineering Materials

Description
An overview of structures, properties and applications of metals, polymers, ceramics, and composite materials is presented. Problem-solving skills are developed in material selection, evaluation, measurement, and testing. Laboratory activities include testing various properties of different materials, and selection of materials for engineering applications. Class Notes: Prerequisite: Chem-C 101. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: CHEM-C 101 All UCTE1 program students and all students on FRMETBSPR plan not eligible for enrollment for this level course.
