An analysis will be made of the basic attitudes and philosophies of learners, teachers, administrators and parents concerning multicultural diversity and education. Students will explore the need for a multicultural approach to education and curriculum development and investigate both culturally biased and multicultural curricula. Theory and research findings will supplement knowledge from personal experience and practice. (Meets New York City requirements for a course in human relations).
