Such a great professor! Neuroscience is a required course, and I highly recommend taking it with this professor! Everything on the tests are from the lecture notes, and you get to drop your lowest test score. He is enthusiastic and always willing to answer questions! It ended up being a lot easier than I had initially thought.

Dr. Lai isn't necessarily a difficult professor, but the material he teaches is difficult. You should love cellular and molecular neuroscience if you take this class, it requires a lot of thinking and work. Super passionate and amazing professor with very interesting research. Always willing to help, answer questions, and provide feedback.
