CEUST 351 - Advanced Persian I

Description
Students examine the classical Persian tradition's rich legacy of historical, literary, and religious writings and learn the grammatical and lexical differences distinguishing classical 4 from modern Persian. Introduction to basic research tools and reference works. Readings cover the range of classical Persian texts. Class Notes: T 351 : P - Intermediate Persian or equivalent Above class open to undergraduates only Above class meets with CEUS-T 751. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: Must have Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior standing.
