HTA 430 - Acting VII (MT Sr. only)

Description
The final acting course of the training sequence will focus on an investigation of acting styles required to perform period low and high comedy. Typically, the course will begin with an investigation of a play in prose by Moliere, for an initial study of low comedy, then move to a play in verse, by either Moliere or one of his contemporaries, then progress to an English Restoration or post restoration comedy, and finally to a play, typically by Coward, which will investigate modern high comedy. Prerequisite: Actor Training Major, senior standing.
