ECN 395 - ST: Seminar Microeconometrics

Description
Advanced Special Topic: Seminar in Microeconometrics. This economics seminar will prepare students to understand and perform modern microeconometric analyses. Topics will include OLS regression, regression discontinuity, instrumental variables, difference-in-differences, and synthetic control. Students will write a research paper using one of these methods and micro data. In addition to learning and implementing these tools, students will learn to speak the increasingly universal language of applied microeconometrics. Prerequisite: ECN-280, 282 and 286.
