HEBR 022 - Interm Mod Hebrew II

Description
This course will build upon students’ Hebrew language skills taught at the Beginning II level. It will cover expanded verb conjugation in the past, present and future, knowledge of the conditional, colloquialisms and common idioms, advanced knowledge of the morphological system and complex grammatical structures, competence in everyday conversational fluency, written and oral analysis of narrative texts, oral class presentations in Hebrew, conversations with the instructor and students, and a variety of cultural activities such as films, audio clips and newspaper articles.The course covers chapters 1-7 of Hebrew from Scratch Volume 2, in the Fall, and chapters 8-14 in the Spring. The course requires a mandatory one hour per week conversation session - at a time convenient to all students.
