By far the most practically useful class in the CS dept, despite the constant stress. You learn ML classification, clustering, networks, etc., all in Python. The class is quite difficult, but no exams. The final group project was a ton of work and the homeworks are graded harshly by TAs. Watch out for the pop quizzes in class. (took in fall 2019)

Directions for the homeworks and projects are vague, and the grading is difficult and very inconsistent. This class is way more work than its worth and its very difficult to get an A or even a B. I have taken over 30 classes at Georgetown and this one is by far the worst one. Do not take this class if you value your sanity or your gpa.
