CHEM 509 - Physical Organic Chemistry

Description
The course will involve free-energy relationships, structure-reactivity relationships, coordinates for concerted reactions based on orbital symmetry rules, assessments of molecular properties (such as dipoles and conformations) from basic electronic principles, assessment of thermodynamic and kinetic control of reactions, and other aspects of modern physical organic chemistry.
