Description
This course is a critical examination of social policies, reserach, and practices impacting at-risk children and families' quality of life. Students will acquire skills necessary to understanding family dynamics and indicators of maltreatment and effective interventions on the micro and macro level. Emphasis is placed on the role of the social work practitioner in enhancing the well-being of children and families in contemporary society.
