PHYS 380 - Methods of Experimental Physics

Description
Experiments using analog, digital, and integrated circuits including: filtering circuits, diodes, transistor amplifiers, operational amplifiers, triggers, and digital logic. Introduction to automated experimentation. (1 hour lecture, 6 hours laboratory). Instructional fee required. Class Notes: Students enroll in the lecture/discussion component only of a multi-component course and are AUTOMATICALLY enrolled in the associated component(s) (activity/lab). Prerequisite: PHYS 226 with a grade of C or better. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: PHYS 226.
