ETHS 129F - Intro to African-American Stdy

54 hours lecture per term. This survey course presents the student with an examination of the African American experience, and traces the role and contributions of Black people in the development of the United States. Included are such major topics as origins in Africa and the historical development of the Black community and culture as they evolved in the United States.
