COP 2360 - Introduction to C#

This course provides an introduction to software development in the C# programming language in the Microsoft dot NET environment. Students will learn to write programs in the C# programming language using the Microsoft Visual Studio IDE. The course presents elements of the C# language, including decisions, loops, arrays, and exception handling. Topics also include object oriented programming, methods, collections, file input and output, and databases. Emphasis will be on creating object oriented programs that use a Graphic User Interface. Student hands-on programming projects will be an integral part of the course. Class Notes: This is a hybrid section of this course and is a blend of online and on-campus instruction. The class will meet at the campus and days noted on the MyFSCJ schedule. The remainder of the class is online and must be accessed in Blackboard through MyFSCJ. Students must have stable internet access. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-requisite: COP 1000 with a grade of "C" or better.
