MAN 2021 - Principles of Management

Description
This course presents an overview of the core management functions with emphasis on learning how to manage organizations for excellence in both performance and employee satisfaction. Major topics include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, leading, controlling, and problem-solving in organizations. Additional selected topics are business ethics and social responsibility, strategic and operational planning, decision making, organization structure, managing teams, communication and information technology. Class Notes: This is a hybrid section of this course and is a blend of online and on-campus instruction. The class will meet at the campus and days noted on the MyFSCJ schedule. The remainder of the class is online and must be accessed in Blackboard through MyFSCJ. Students must have stable internet access.
