FIN 4501 - Investment Management

Description
This course is a study of different types of financial investments and their relevant uses. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, portfolio theory and practice, capital markets, valuation, investments, and security analysis. Class Notes: This is a hybrid section of this course and is a blend of online and on-campus instruction. The class will meet at the campus and days noted on the MyFSCJ schedule. The remainder of the class is online and must be accessed in Blackboard through MyFSCJ. Students must have stable internet access. Enrollment Requirements: Pre-requisite: FIN 3400 with a grade of "C" or better, ECO 2013, ECO 2023, GEB 3213, and CGS 1060, CGS 1100 or CGS 1570 Co-requisite: GEB 3213.
