Loved this class and professor even though I HATE math. Younger professor and very engaging. One topic per week with 10-20 exercise problems and a quiz online. 3 tests in class w/index card notes. We discussed topic and nxt class we worked thru problems. Take the initiative to look at the problems each week before your 2nd class and you will PASS.

Math is my worst subject and Professor Byrd helped me understand it more clear. She uses the online program Aleks and it requires that you do 12 hours of math a week in addition to lectures in class. I suggest taking this class by itself since it is a heavy load. Grades are not officially entered until the last day of class. I have to re take.
