CE 210 - Research Methods in Civil Engineering

Description
Development of research and skills, understanding, and application of the scientific method in engineering research, and development of individual research topic and proposal. Discussion of new developments in civil engineering science, oral presentations, and submittal of research papers. A passing grade in the Graduate Writing Requirement component of CE 210 is required to receive a passing grade in CE 210. Class Notes: Letter grade only. Enrollment in 200-series courses is limited to those who have met graduate degree program admission requirements, including appropriate GRE/GMAT/MAT scores. Exceptions may only be made by the Graduate Dean. Advanced, post-baccalaureate credential students may enroll in no more than six units of 200-series course work prior to submission of GRE/MAT scores. Enrollment Requirements: Course/section open only to post-baccalaureate students.
